About us
Speaking a foreign language connects you to the rest of the world by allowing you to explore other cultures in a more authentic way. Through learning multiple languages, you see just how related languages are.
Language Bliss encourages the learning of multiple languages. We hope to offer as many language courses as we can. Imagine having a base knowledge of every major language in the world. That sounds difficult, but Language Bliss will make it easy. We help you leverage the power of your computer and the Internet to make language learning more efficient and fun.
The Language Bliss approach gets absolute beginners learning proper pronunciation through video playback from native speakers. Hearing the words spoken AND being able to see the person’s mouth makes a big difference in how well you learn pronunciation. Your accent when speaking another language is an important factor in how well you are understood.
Most beginners of a language feel that native speakers speak too fast. Language classes typically present slower speech so that the students can easily follow. Unfortunately, this is unrealistic and unlike real-world speech. The result is that a classroom-only educated student may understand every word in class, and yet not understand a single word of the language spoken on the streets.
During a Language Bliss lesson, if you feel that the speech is too fast, you can slow it down and even repeat as often as you like. Language Bliss puts you in control of your learning.
Not everyone has an incredible memory for learning large numbers of words. Language Bliss will automatically track your progress and quiz you on words that you’re having trouble remembering, making the learning process seamless.
Let’s say you have memorized all the words from a course, and you move on to other things. Over time, if you have not been using that language, you may find yourself rusty when it comes to remembering words. The good news is you can take refresher quizzes on words you had previously memorized, and in no time those words will be back in your vocabulary.
